私たちの目標は、今を生きる表現者の輪をつくっていくこと。そして、場と場を結び、日本という島から世界の島々に表現を発信していくことです。そのためのつなぎ役になるべく、土台作りをしていきます！！
表現に出会う場をつくること、そして、水と同じく、人の暮らしに、行き渡らせて行くことを目指しています。
Our mission is to build the network of the artists who are living now
and future. And connect the spaces and deliver their expressions from
island JAPAN to the WORLD. We'll do our best to make a infrastructure
and be a HUB.
We aim at providing people with the space to encounter expression, and
instilling it in the society just like water.
[活動内容 Our activities]
1） 場の運営
・ 場の特性を活かし、アトリエ、ショースペース、ゲストルームなど、
多様な場の使い方をしています。
1) Running spaces
- Taking advantage of the character of the spaces, we run a studio, an
exhibition space, and a guest room
- island MEDIUM - Show Space-
- island ATRIUM - Studio-
- island LAPUTA - Open Space-
- island 湯けむり - guest room-
2） 展示企画
・ 自社スペースでの展示：作家の自由な表現の発表の場をつくります。
・ 他スペースでの展示：その場に応じて、作家の組み合わせ、見せ方、コンセプトなどを考え、企画提案、開催しています。。
2) Organizing exhibition
- Exhibition at our space: we organize spaces where artists can
present their free-spirited artworks.
- Exhibition at other space: we consider the combination of the
artists, the way to show works, and the concept of the exhibitions
that fits the character of the space.

3） 作家のプロモーション
・国内外での発表の場をつくり、世界的に売り出して行きます。
- The Armory Show (NY)、ART HK（香港）、Art Fair Tokyo（東京）
・ グッズ展開など、新たな切り口での作家の紹介をしています。
3) Promoting artist
- Exhibiting the artworks at home and abroad, we introduce them to the
world. ( The Armory Show, ART HK, Art Fair Tokyo etc.,)
- We adopt new approaches to introduce the artists such as developing
the items related to the artists.
4） メディア企画
・ 編集者、デザイナー、カメラマン、スタイリストなど場合に応じて
チームを組みながら、メディアの開発を行なっています。
4) Media program
- Teaming up with editors, designers, photographers, and stylists as
the situation demands, we explore the possibility of media.

5） イベント企画
・ 作家の活動をライブでみせるようなイベントや、
年代を超えて、様々な人が話し合うような場も企画しています。
5) Organizing event
- We organize the events such as artists’ live project, and talk show
that involves people of various generations.

6） アートプロジェクト企画運営
・ 各地で行われるアートプロジェクトの企画運営、開催も行っています。
6) Organizing art project
- We also organize the art project across the country.
